Movement & Miller is actively trying to offer education & growth, through dance training, in the Deep South. This is an effort to address gaps and solve problems of fine and gross motor skill development in our community.

We have teamed up with Marine Primary School in Ocean View, with support from acting principal Mr Aleem Sparks, and would like to provide learners from grades 1-3, the opportunity to take dance extra-murally, in 2020. This would augment the development of skills such as neuro-muscular connection, risk taking and problem solving, collaborative thinking, innovation and creativity, as well as advancing physical strength, core stability, flexibility and stamina.

The programme will offer dance training, in a variety of styles, twice a week, at the Movement & Miller studios.

Our efforts to facilitate class, transport kids safely to and from the programme weekly and to enable their growth in dance won’t be as effective without the support of stakeholders in our community and that is why we are reaching out to you.

If you would like to support this initiative you can sign up to donate to a dancer for R200 per month.

We are happy to answer any of your questions and to expand on exactly how every cent is spent.
